There is a part of Judas in all of us. Honor and obedience is a serious problem even now. Humanity’s self serving agendas will destroy this earth if heart postures do not change. Jesus knows.
What does Judas look like in today’s world? Those fully focused on self and work but not fully invested in spending time with their family, marriage, or home perhaps? Those who lie to get ahead or dabble in sin, steal others peace with words and actions, or destroy the joyful days with unhelpful scowls and arguments, then show up for Sunday church all nice and remorseful. This is not authentic faith.
This is going through the motions of a religion. This is not authentic daily relationship with Holy Spirit within. Pray for this nation, world, and against persecution.
Jesus knew the heart posture of Judas all along. Who is your Judas? Pray for them, with them, and for authentic faithfulness with a heart posture change towards God and away from self serving agendas.
