Praying

Prayer is an intimate conversation with our Father in Heaven. It involves God in all aspects of life. It is a time for evaluation of self and family, decisions, struggles, actions to take, thankfulness for blessings, seeking answers, and so much more. As an element of worship in private and corporately in service, we come together in faith and unity. Prayer serves to connect us with God in personal ways.

Aaron’s priestly prayer blessing in the book of Numbers reminds us of the simplicity of prayer that serves to request protection, help in navigating hardships, and keeping us and our family from the evil pursuits of Satan. It is a prayer for self and others to sojourn on towards the purpose of God in all of our lives.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Your voice in the wilderness over your family, home, self, nation, and community is heard by the Great I Am. Keep praying. Plan your time and place in your everyday life to pray, even multiple times. How is your prayer life?
