Sometimes ordinary things are just what we need. Cats bask in the sunshine. Birds bathe in the rain. Turkeys take dust baths in the heat of summer. Bears sleep all winter. We could learn much from God’s creation, animals, seasons, and scripture. The deep, secret meanings are there, especially in the parables Jesus taught.
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. Luke 16:10
Today, make your Monday focus on ordinary things that bring joy, happiness, and blessings from God. Give thanks for the little, ordinary moments that give life to your soul. Write what those are for you. Seek them often.
