A lot can happen in one week. From unexpected praise to the shouts of ‘kill him’ the world hasn’t changed much in thousands of years. Yet, Jesus knows our joys and trials. While humans come and go, Jesus lives on within us to help with navigating a fickle, impulsive, and evil driven world so that we can stay focused on Holy rather than the trials.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:2-3
Don’t let a bad day, mean opinions, health trials, or anything that breaks your heart ruin your week. God loves you. Jesus saved you. Stay close to the Holy Spirit in conversational prayer, God’s Word, and Jesus’ patient endurance and we, too are resurrected time after time.
