I am blessed with the true love of God and true, authentic friends and family. To settle for less is not worth the fight. Jesus sets the example for us to live by. Look for that in others, but, more importantly, become a true friend in love.
Be a Jesus friend to others as He was a true friend to all He encountered. From giving the woman at the well the gift of eternal life, saving the woman to be stoned because it is was the right thing to do, feeding the multitudes with compassion, washing the feet of His betrayer, and casting out demons to miraculous healings in kindness, Jesus genuinely cared for others from His heart and mindset.
Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
All that is truth, authentic, doing the right thing, and genuine love sustains us as we live in a world full of selfish ambition and power games. These are the true things in life worth fighting for within ourselves and to offer others.
