Paradise: Perfect Communion with God, Heaven, Blessing of Restoration, No more suffering, a Place of Peace, Joy with Jesus
The golden light beckons our souls to keep journeying on in this world until it is time to meet paradise. The 3 on the cross depicts our sojourn. One mocked, disbelieving anything about God and Jesus’ mission on earth. Hell waited for him. One, Jesus himself, did the work and followed through to save humanity to God. One was curious and in his agony did not blame Jesus. He simply asked to be remembered. The faith of a mustard seed saved him to heaven. In His compassion, Jesus gave the man comforting words of truth.
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Each on the cross had different journeys through life. One chose burning screams over paradise. One was blameless but suffered because He was not what the people had in mind for a king yet He defeated death after all. One, feared (respected) that the teachings he had heard somewhere along his life journey as authentic and real and received the offer of paradise. He trusted the Word even though he made mistakes.
