- The elusive goal of reaching permanent happiness is never reached on earth for change and discontent come swiftly and often
- The unending pursuit of finding happiness through careers, relationships, wealth, possessions, hobbies, drugs, social status, vacations, revenge…. takes work, effort, and flexibility in the changing world we live in, and we never truly find the essence of it if it doesn’t come from within
- Chasing happiness while running rough shod over anybody and everybody that stands in the way of your perceived perfect life becomes an exhausting endeavor filled with anger, bitterness, and Unhappiness in life
- “No one can serve two masters, for either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money (or drugs, possessions, power, pride, selfishness…..)” Matthew 6:24 (ESV)
Spend time evaluating where you are in life. Are you Happy? Is it time to Embrace the change that comes through Jesus who lives within you? You must realize nothing on earth will make you happy without God in your life, first. Pursue Holy with all you’ve got and Happiness will find you. As “things”, money, status, and selfish motives become less important you settle into the freedom of a Happy Life in the Spirit! Be Content Today! Choose Happiness in the Divine
