What is normal in life? To normalize bad behavior, decisions based on feelings at the time, words spoken with venom, and actions that promote a take all you can attitude leads to the wrong path. After a while these become the norm and we become desensitized to all the sins of the heart posture. It is a ploy of Satan to get everything and everyone on the side of do as you please even if it hurts others and self. Wrong ways lead to death.
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44
Where is your heart posture today? It is time to turn away from the throng and choose the path of doing the right thing, even when it is hard, leading the way in kindness and compassion, even when we do not feel good or happy, and seeking wise decisions, even when we want to choose the easier way. The good path is your life line.
