Seasons of life are like seasons of nature. Summer brings growth, beach fun, horse shows, happiness, lightening bugs, whippoorwill’s singing in the night, and beautiful flowers. There are seasons of our own lives we experience this growth, too. Then change comes because God is teaching us something different.
Fall appears on the crisp breeze of trees turning red, gold, and orange. Camp fires glow as blankets of humans huddle together sharing hot chocolate. Life is good. Then change comes because God is teaching us something different.
Winter appears with snowy mountain tops, the biting cold seeps through fleece coats, and the animals sleep or hunker down in burrows of protection. We humans face wind as electricity goes out and we survive hardship. Change is coming.
God changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding. Daniel 2:21
Spring shows up with bright sunlight, yellow flowers, bears in the dumpsters after a long winter sleep, and trees with green leaves. A far contrast from winter’s stark and bleak reality.
Sometimes our life seasons take longer than the break of dawn. Yet, the hope is there in faithful trust in the one who created it all. Thank you God! The timing of God is perfect. Find Holy rhythm. Sometimes we have to Wait for Holy.
What season of life are you in right now? Let Jesus help you through it. He has lived it.
