“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:8. The Greek word for Spirit and Wind are the same. The Hebrew word for Spirit is Breath or Wind (in the lungs). Holy Spirit speaks on the gentle breezes and whispers in the whirlwinds of life. Are you listening? Paying attention? Do you want to deeply and fully know God your creator and Jesus your Savior?
“For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation”. Psalm 62:1. If we are too busy to make time for the Lord we will not trust Holy enough to hear Him within our soul, on the wind, or even in a church pew. . Distractions abound but in the quiet a posture of deep faith grows. Silence is golden.
“I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Hebrews 8:10 Are you God’s person? How do you know? Your heart knows. Follow Holy Spirit’s leading and watch your heart posture change away from the world and towards deeper communion with God.
God is no longer writing His knowledge onto stone tablets. Holy gives us the memory-knowledge in our minds and writes them into our hearts. Today, you can change the trajectory of your life in Jesus name. Pray. Ask for forgiveness then forgive others. Change. Read and Listen intently for God’s Word speak to you. Stop the whirlwind of distractions and spend time listening, in silence, in Holy creation.
