Eye rafter’s are a huge problem in this world. It breaks my heart to see how many churches, homes, communities have been split apart, cease to exist, covered up abuse, turned a blind eye to the addictions and abuse of innocent children, teens, women, and men who are exploited. Jesus must be weeping.
Church is not a building to be worshipped. Church begins within, at home, in communities. Saving the mega empires for the sake of worshiping the entity instead of God is never what Jesus intended for His church. Jesus is weeping
We must pray for a return to the real church of Jesus through the Holy Spirit and it begins with each of us as individuals, first. Without true repentance there is no real change, no self control, no ridding of pride and egotistical views, nor is there a pure, unadulterated love of Jesus.
As faithful believers, we must examine our own heart postures, sins that draw us away from Jesus, and take the rafters out of our own eyes in order to be able to pray and be there for others who have fallen, authentically. We are called to service not judgement for we all have fallen in some way. And, sometimes, all we can do is pray for ourselves and others. And, that is enough!
Today is the day to start anew. Pluck those rafters. Give Jesus your whole, pure, heart every day, not just a small part of it a few days a week. Jesus is waiting. God is the only One who passes judgement, not humans.
