The enemy knows our buttons to push and doors to open that tempt us when confusion of direction sets into our spirit. This is why we must pray about what is going on in our lives many moments of every day. It is personal. It is relational. It is a supernatural power of God within.
Prayer calms our racing minds with the truth of God. Holy Spirit steps in upon the asking and clarity seeps into our spirit to push the enemy tactics away. When someone says to you “pray about it” it should not be taken flippantly. Prayer is a tool to protect us against wrong ways, words, and actions that has the power to change and heal. Miracles still happen.
In God’s scriptures doors and gates are used to depict the right way to go, the narrow path to follow, God’s way of living, and listening for His voice within. When God opens His doors you will find peace.
Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors. Proverbs 8:34
The right door to go through will become clear in God’s timing. Holy is waiting for you at His doors. Do not listen to the lies of satan when you intuitively know deep within what doors of chaos and temptations are off limits.
I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Revelation 3:8
Our salvation and eternity is an open door invitation.
