Skimming the surface of anything is easy, safe, and predictable. But God calls us to dive deeper with Him. There is beauty to be found in the mysteries of a deeper faith. Holy calls us to trust Him in the deep waters of daily life not merely survive. Do you trust God enough to follow Him into the depths of where He is leading you?
Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. Psalm 42:7
To seek the deeper meanings of Christ is to eagerly engage in daily relationship with Holy. Ask for the deeper meanings when you read or hear scripture. Pray for the deeper meaning of this season of your life with the patient endurance of Jesus.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
