Choices: Fear or Faith

We have a plethora of choices, decisions, entertainment, and hurried busyness in this life we live on earth. After a while it begins to feel mundane then moves into overwhelm, and fear of not being able to keep up a shallow lifestyle takes over.

What choices are you making? Is a deep, abiding relationship with Jesus part of you anywhere in your life? Who do you trust?

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. Psalm 56:3. David trusted God. It was a committed decision. It was a choice from his heart, mind, and soul. It took precedence over all that was going on in his life at any given time.

For me, to trust God with my life is the lifeline I looked for too long in life. It’s a choice; a committed decision that changed my life. It can change yours, too. Awaken to God in creation. Pull back the curtain and see fear for what it is: a liar.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
