It is our greatest tendancy, when we think of riches, to immediately go to thoughts of bank accounts, fancy cars, large houses, designer clothes…Â Why is it that? Anything thing of this world that monetarily denotes wealthy staus is the goal. Focusing solely upon attaining that goal does nothing to build wealth where it is most important to thriving and connecting to Holy, which is internally.
What are your riches? How is your internal house? Where is your focus? Who do you depend on?
Is your internal house feeling neglected, empty, and confused? Is there a longing deep within you for change, but you don’t know what it is you need?
Begin by changing your daily narrative and place your focus on building riches of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding within by way of prayer, getting deep into the Word, talking with a trusted friend, asking God the hard questions, developing a personal friendship with Jesus, singing worship songs….. Then the outward wealth staus won’t matter anymore. Your Spirit will connect with Holy Spirit, and you will be born to a new way of living and thinking.
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2,3
