The timely process of unlayering ourselves is like peeling an onion. Peelings are akin to our seasons of life. When we finally learn something, are awakened to truth, begin to change old patterns, and take off the rose colored glasses we change. As the layers of old drift away, the new that comes is fresh and new like a shiny onion.
Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. Ephesians 5:14
Healing is not always just sad, painful, or grief stricken. Sometimes it’s freeing, a gift from God, and renewing. Unlayering old patterns to embrace the new God has in store for you opens your eyes to who you’re becoming in Christ.
