On this road called life, it is clear that without peace, there is no joy, and without a thankful heart, love is full of potholes. To follow the road of Jesus leads us on a journey to maintain peace in the midst of uncertainty and find joy in dancing in the rain. He lends the strength to persevere in these daunting times.
Is this an easy road? By no means, but it is authentic in a fake world. It is filled with unconditional love and expressions of genuine care. It is so mysterious and exciting that direction is revealed in a plethora of ways. We just must stay focused on Holiness to see it, hear it, know it, and live it.
If you feel like you are on the wrong road, then change lanes and embark on this life with Jesus. It is never too late to make the switch. Do it right now. Don’t wait. You are not promised another second on this earth.
Ask Jesus to take over. Prepare to be amazed. Jesus will breathe new life into you, and the dead-end road you’ve been on will expand into eternal life.
The road the righteous travel is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until daylight has come. The road of the wicked, however, is dark as night. They fall, but cannot see what they have stumbled over. Proverbs 4:18-19
