You and I have the very breath of God within us. At that very breath, our soul comes alive. From that point on, we become the human God created. We are filled with Holy Breath and Holy Light, and if we choose to live our lives with Holy intentions, our light grows in the Truth of God’s Word, the wisdom of memory knowledge, and we seek goodness in all that we do and say. Like the beauty of a sunflower turning towards the sun, our life then becomes the reflection of the Son, Jesus. Our soul shines for the world to see holiness and not self.
God formed the human from the dust of the ground, and Breathed into the nostrils the breath life; and human became a living soul. Genesis 2:7
God still breathes life into us humans. Your light just might be the one that draws someone from the pit of hell to be saved through Jesus. The Holy Spirit is at your beckoning. Let your soul shine bright. This world of darkness needs it. Stand tall, be proud of it, and follow the Son.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill can not be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
