I love to watch hummingbird’s at my feeder, when they come to my window and hover thanking me for fresh electrolyte nectar, and even the little wars between them for a spot on the feeder. Yes, even in the rain showers the hummingbirds dance to the tune of thank you. These are showers of blessings that soothe the soul. What are your showers of blessings?
Rain is a promise of God. It is the promise of renewal after a hard season. It is a sign of God’s grace that saturates our soul with cleansing refreshment in the spirit. It represents God’s dependability, Holy faithfulness to people in distress, and gives hope when we are spiritually dehydrated.
If you are going through a dry season, dance in the showers of Holy blessings, even the small ones. Your peace is coming. Seek Jesus’ patient endurance in the waiting for your showers of blessings in God’s timing.
