While the world circles the drain, we can all too often become overwhelmed with confusion and trepidation. As we ponder life, the shadows close in, and we either feel vulnerable or protected. If your focus is on the ways of the world, fear lurks around every corner, distracting you from noticing the power of God. If your focus is on Holy, you will go looking for the shadow of protection. To find it, you must recognize the difference between the tricks of satan in the shadows and God offering the shelter of safety in the shadows.
To recognize the shadows’ truth in any given situation, emotion, fear, or action, you must develop a personal relationship with God on a daily basis. Today is the day to make a commitment to and focus on your relationship with God. You might just need Holy Wings today.
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful, because I come to you for safety. In the shadow of your wings, I find protection until the raging storms are over. Psalm 57:1
