After 40 years of wandering and complaining in the wilderness along with the death of Moses, Joshua led the people across the Jordan River into the promise land. It was just as God promised.
Holy promises may not be immediate. You may get tired of waiting in this impulsive world. You may get angry, sad, complain, or not see a solution to a situation that caught you off guard, but do not give up, give in, nor allow Satan to trick you into believing God has abandoned you.

When we contend in truth and faith believing above all else that God will see us through, He listens, sees our efforts, and His promises always come true. We are not to give in to satan’s corruption of mind, heart, and soul, daily. It may take 40 years, but don’t give up on God’s promise to you.
