The power of God is demonstrated in the beginning of Genesis in creation of the Universe, Earth, the Waters, and humanity.
… the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Genesis 1:2
Jesus’ life on earth was a testimony to the character and nature of the Power of God. He promised the Father would leave His Holy Spirit within each of us as a powerful tool to understand the deeper meaning of God and His Word.
Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:4-5
We must be willing to read the scriptures other than on Sunday morning to become the Living Word of God, daily. Are you afraid of confusion? Ask Jesus to help you understand what you are reading with deeper meaning by way of the Holy Spirit.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
