God’s timing and human timing are not the same. To understand this is to acquire Jesus’ patient endurance in the waiting.
What are you waiting for in life? Inflation to give way to easier affordability, better roads to travel, or career promotion? These are only human luxuries that we have no real control over for the ultimate outcome.
So, what about your soul, Holy Spirit, physical health, mental stability, family dynamics, or relationships? Jesus taught about patient endurance as believers. His go-to for everything was spending time in prayerful solitude with His Heavenly Father gaining His Word, Wisdom, Courage, and Guidance. Then Jesus understood, endured, and patiently waited. It is a learned habit.
Where is your focus? Worldly outcomes? Or, are you ready to do the soul work through the Holy Spirit of God that lives within?
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Meet the sunrise with great expectations and wait patiently at sunset as darkness sets in. The light of the world is still there, and the sun will rise again at dawn. Just wait it out patiently.
