Hope is Active

Active presence with God strengthens our faith, leads us away from sin, and gives a kind of hope humanity nor things of this world can offer. It is supernatural. Hope is active.

Hope requires effort and a heart posture of certainty to engage in relationship with Jesus, or it just becomes another empty word akin to luck. Hope is activating the Holy Spirit within to come alive.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

A persons true heart posture, actively seeking the scriptures, in prayer, in community of faith, and daily living close to God determines our level of active hope. Our hope is in God not this world. How is your hope in a world that is determined to see us fail?
