We are not abandoned to the wilds of the wilderness. God does not give up on us in our rebellion. We are not the sum of our mistakes. In God’s eyes, we are worth pursuing. We may give up, but God does not give up on us.
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake (disown, quit, desert) you. Deuteronomy 31:6
Give thanks today that God is always seeking ways to be with you, strengthen you, help you, and encourage you. Even when you are lonely, sad, and weary, God is there. Give thanks today for every human and creature in your life on earth who was and is your champion in your darkest hour.
Thank you, Jesus, for not giving up on me.
