What are you chasing? Are you still chasing emptiness?
Do not trust in emptiness, deceiving yourself, for emptiness will be your payment. It will be paid in full before paying your time, and your branch will not be green. Job 15:31,32
Momentary pleasures, recognition, ego boosters, prideful work, and a whole host of love in the wrong places of your heart all end with feelings of emptiness. Your restless heart cannot find contentment no matter how relentlessly you chase the wrong thing, person, life situation. Is it time to rest in the One who already knows the destiny of your path in this life?
