Yes, they still sing to this day of birth and death and change and transforming lives one at a time. They circle around us as guardians, encouragers, protectors, and flashes of light filled feathers all for the good of humankind and glory to God; never to glorify themselves. What is their message?
It’s the same as when Gabriel spoke with Mary that she would bear the Son of God by way of the Holy Spirit. It’s the same as the Angel in Joseph’s dream instructing him to accept the call to be husband to Mary and earthly Father to Jesus. It’s the same as when the angel appeared to the shepherds in the field announcing the birth of the Christ child. It’s the same as when the angel of the Lord appears to Hagar, Sara’s maid, in Genesis; as when the angel’s Gabriel and Michael appear to Daniel; as when the group of angels minister to Jesus after His temptation by Satan. Angel occurrence’s are recorded in His Word in so many more instances. And, Yes, they still happen today in many, many ways. Don’t be afraid. Be inspired! The Message will make your heart sing with them.
“There were shepherds staying out in a field keeping watch over their flock by night. An angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them and the glory of the Lord shone round them and they became frightened.” Luke 2:8,9
