What have you mapped out for yourself in life? Does it match God’s trip for you?
Humans spend entire lives mapping out their existence; career planning, investment planning, college goals, retirement goals, paying bills, eating… Can you say you’ve laid any of these life plans at God’s feet? It is very hard to consider doing that without a deep faith. Shallowness within doesn’t cut it because your faith just becomes religion separate from daily life.
Do the work. Spend the time. Seek the signs, wonders, mystery, and presence of God. Seize every opportunity to converse with your Creator about everything and everyone in your life. Your faith will deepen as you make it a daily habit of trying to understand your life map. Trust the process.
