There is the Holy roar, too. Seek that roar when life becomes too hard to bear. You can trust God’s roar to be your place of safety.
The roar can feel like an earthquake within. Or, it can feel like a burden has been lifted. It has the capacity to create physical, mental, and/or emotional havoc. Just ask an addict who uses to silence the hard truth of their reality. Ignoring your souls whispers of truth is akin to ignoring God. Some still choose that path. It is a hard way to live.

Roar: the intervention of God in human lives
The Lord will roar like a lion from Jerusalem; his loud voice will thunder from that city, and the sky and the earth will shake. But the Lord will be a safe place for his people, a strong place of safety for the people of Israel. Joel 3:16
