What’s Your Perspective?

If negative thoughts, criticisms, complaining, or a sour attitude are the first things that occur to you at every turn, for every event or moment of your life, especially when it comes to other people, your perspective about life is skewed and your inner spirit will not be open to the compassion of the Divine. Constantly Finding fault, even if you think it serves to protect you from disappointment, hurt, fear, or caring, only leads you to a life of misery, discontent, and self importance. The Divine wants us to lead a life of joy.

If you aren’t finding joy then Start Today and change your perspective. For every negative thought, action, word, or deed, STOP YOURSELF, and change directions. You are responsible for your actions, words, behaviors, blaming, shaming, and negativity. No one else! Even when life is unfair, which we all encounter in some shape or form, scary, disappointing, and hurtful beyond our physical control, we can control how we react to those circumstances.

Remember to seek to see people and circumstances for what they really are in Truth. Many pretend to be beautiful roses, but you can tell they are not true by their actions, words, and demeanor. They will not have the fragrance of roses, but of stench. Steer clear, silently watching, & Even Praying – Yes! Complain, blame, point fingers, slander – No!

Weeds abound in this dark world. They are beautiful and wild and unique. They are different than you, but can also serve a purpose just as much as you do. Embrace the weeds of life with a positive outlook. Enjoy the beauty of the weeds and roses with joy and thanksgiving. You will embrace the Divine when you do, and with effort you will change your perspective on life along the way.

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had…” Roman’s 15:5
