It Starts With Your Choices

Anytime change comes into our lives our true colors fly! As humans, we either thrive on the disruptive chaos and roll with it without a second thought as we give in to fear and anxiety internally. Or, we fight it every step of the way along with whomever gets in our way only concerned for self or not being able to do what we want. Neither is productive in creating orderly, calm, positive, and lifelong changes within our Spirit. I believe in God, who gives every human a choice to follow His way. It is in making that choice to follow Him that God has saved me many times in my life. I am human. I make mistakes, but every time I choose His way to evaluate circumstances, I take a chance on His provision without knowing all the details, then, methodically, trust deepens and change occurs. It is only then that I am then at peace with whatever the outcome may be. I must say sometimes it’s never how I wanted it to happen, but sometimes it’s better than I ever imagined. It’s all in the process of how we choose to embrace change: Positive or Negative ~

The point is Jesus doesn’t want us to stay stuck in patterns of living and old habits that don’t serve us well in life. Other than saving humanity, His reason for coming to earth as a human was to experience life as a human from birth to death and all the in between. He’s seen it all and chose to save us anyway. He is right there with us every step of the way in our earthly suffering as our comforter. His teachings can ease our way through the changes we need to make in our own lives as well as change that is thrust upon us unwanted. He then shows us how to help comfort others in the midst of change who cross our paths in life. Change always starts with your choice of how you handle it and if you’re willingly available to help someone else!

“Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
