The eyes have it. When your smile reaches your eyes, it is genuine. It is then that your eyes will twinkle with wisdom, knowing, and seeing authentically. I have known people who have suffered greatly in their lives, struggled like none other, and still their eyes light up their whole being because they stay focused on God’s Word.
The Word is your lamp. It is the light of the Holy Spirit beaming through you when you soak it in. The rays of your eyes will exude Holy presence even if one is blind. Your whole physical body, when awakened to God, will radiate an ethereal light that draws people to you. Always be ready to speak of holiness to those you come in contact with as you go about your daily life. The lamp is to be shared.
Take care of what you allow your eyes to witness in this world. It will dim your light.
