And, daily, God reminds each of us there are no mistakes in how we are created. The grass may look greener on the other side of the street, the hallway, across the country, in our friend’s relationships, or in the way someone else looks, but we are right where each of us are supposed to be. If we understand that green grass must be cultivated, nourished, watered, and spend time in the sun no matter where it is in this world, we realize the sun shines on my side of the road just like it does on yours. The view just looks different. The sun still rises in the east and sets in the west; everyday. Stop looking for happiness from other’s views and pause to look around at where you are.
Happiness is found within not in the outer world. Holy Spirit within will teach you about happiness amid this wicked world, but you must genuinely want it, ask for it, and make the effort. Happiness within yourself must be cultivated, nourished along to encourage growth, searched for, and even be chosen in the face of our hardest adversities. Yes, happiness is a choice. It doesn’t happen without the help of Divine. Don’t let this world steal your “happy” today.
Seek who you really are in Jesus name and do not measure your happiness by the world’s standards. It is a daily choice to seek happiness. It’s not for the faint of heart. It can’t be done without Jesus. There isn’t a human being , job, house, or location on this earth that can make you happy until you find genuine happiness within yourself by way of Holy Spirit.
