If you are surrounded by God’s favor, you have nothing to fear on earth. Biblical favor is NOT, “Hey, can you do me a me a favor?” Furthermore, God does not choose “favorites. ” God has chosen everyone, but it is your choice whether you choose God or not.
Favor: The supernatural attraction of God to you that releases the influence of God within you so that other people are inclined to listen, trust, cooperate with you in the assignment God gave you. ~Lance Wallnau
Hebrew Favor: hen (chen) grace, mercy, healing
Greek Favor: charis grace, kindness
What is the assignment God has given you, singing, writing, barrel racing, addiction counseling, animal rescue…?
The point is, is that wherever you are or whatever you do in life, allow God to use you in tangible service to draw others close to Holy Divine God. Favor is not about making your life easier. It is being able to do something for others that is otherwise humanly impossible through our gifts of service given by God. Let Holy use you right where you are to show others who God really is.
Those who seek wisdom find true life and obtain favor from God. Proverbs 8:35
