Restoration of Life

The Word is constant. It is where God provides promises of hope, stories of real life, healing miracles, and unconditional love in a world filled with chaos and devastation.

Nothing in this world is constant. Without Jesus in my life, I, too, would fall into the chaos of this world, be blown apart by trauma, parched for realness, and drowning in my own temptations. The only change that makes the difference in my life is the overcoming grace, forgiveness, and love of Jesus. It’s the only change that works for the good of all of us. There is provision for everything we need.

“The Lord PROVIDED a great fish to swallow Jonah. Jonah was inside the fish for 3 days and 3 nights.” Jonah1:17

Jonah was running away from the vow He made to teach the people of Ninevah God’s good ways. In the running, a devastation occurred that could have been Jonah’s Ultimate Death. Instead, God heard Jonah’s prayers and acted as planned. Therefore, Jonah had a Restoration of life and completed his vow to go to the people of Ninevah for God.

Was this the only mistake Jonah made in life? No! After he had gone to Ninevah, Jonah made other mistakes, became angry with the people, angry with God, acted with bitterness…. Yet, God did not give up on Jonah.

God won’t give up on you either. He always has a plan.

And the Lord commanded the fish and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.” Jonah 2:10

Accept this Restoration of Life through Jesus, today, remembering God provides abundantly. And, yes, sometimes amid the restoration it gets messy, scary, and long time coming. Yet, He is always the God of abundant 2nd chances.

What are you running from? Ask Jesus for intervention. This change is good. It’s a process. Don’t give up.
