Narrow Path

There are many ways Jesus works to draw people to the Father. If someone walks the unfamiliar way to you, it doesn’t mean Jesus is not working in their life. It is not for us to make assumptions as to whether others are lost or not lost.

It is up to us as individual followers of Christ to pray for, extend kindness, and invite others into Holy conversation as Jesus presents the opportunity. Rather than pass judgment on what someone else is doing, where they are going, and how they are traveling in this world, we can always invite them to join in on the narrow path.

It is true that the Holy Walk is a narrow path that few truly travel on in this world. Sometimes, in each of our lives, we all have veered off onto the wrong glamorous road that looks exciting, but we quickly realize we just become lost in the crowd. At some point, Jesus steps onto that path to lead us back to Holiness.

If you feel lost today, seek Jesus. He will go looking for you. Holy always directs us to the right way.

The tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear Jesus. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” So Jesus told them this parable: “Who of you, having a hundred sheep, has lost one of them. Do you not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the one that is lost until you find it? And when that one sheep is found, there is rejoicing. …Luke 15

Jesus will rescue you, too!
