How are you making a difference in the lives of others?
Being humble is a heart posture that wisely overrules the inclination of pridefulness. To be humble is to be selfless.
To be prideful is to be self-fulfilling, rendering one to discount the needs, emotions, and the offer to be helpful to others. Pride has a way of convincing you that you sit upon a pedestal higher than God. It is destroying.
Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. James 4:14-16
Change your heart posture towards serving. It is the only way to make a difference in your life, the lives of others, and in this world.
We are but a vapor in the mist on earth, yet, you can make a difference with Christ Jesus in your heart.
