Part of our faith journey is to get to a place where we ultimately and without hesitation trust in Divine timing and not our own. It is a journey that requires patience, seeking, and riding out the rough parts of life hanging on to trusting Holy unknowns and unseen plans. Trust becomes the catalyst that sends us on into the fog, amid the darkness, and alone in the storm. It is where faith grows and deepens and leaves lasting impressions in our mind. All I have to do is remember all those times in my past when God’s timing and not my own made all the difference in the outcome in a positive way.
Trust and Patience are two of the hardest elements of faith to learn about, but oh so worth the time and effort. Slow down today and spend time pondering Holy timing in your life.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
