As we look toward the coming New Year, what are the desires of your heart?
Many thoughts may fill your mind as the fast-paced joy, stress, and Savior’s birth of the Christ-mas season gives way to the new year. Peace on earth, in our homes, in schools, at work, on the streets, coupled with a slower pace of life are just a few that come to my mind.
I know that without the heart of Christ at the forefront of our every desire, our hearts will not be at peace. Whatever is in our hearts, transfers to the world, so why not make it glow with the devine fire of Holy desire.
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Psalm 37:4-5
