Amid the flurry of trying to stay healthy and well physically, let’s not forget about our mental and spiritual well being, too. All three serve to round out our physical being to allow us to function under short periods of high stress, pandemics, stay calm in heated arguments, and steer clear of engaging in unhealthy behaviors like addictions, stress eating, too much electronic use, or depressive sleeping. While it seems like all of this uncertainty is going to drag on forever, remember, life goes on too, so it’s what you make of it. It is easier to criticize our way through the life and end each day always angry and discontent, but that only promotes unhealth within and without. A healthier choice is to look for opportunities where you can make a positive contribution in this life, which promotes a calm well being in the midst of the storm as well as serves to make the world a better place all around.
The highest form of self care and mental health is going within to your Divine creator for advice. The next time you feel the urge to criticize, think about a positive in your life and go forward from there. It is your choice. Choose health, Choose Positive, Choose Divine Contributions that far outweigh a disgruntled life of anger, bitterness, and/or self loathing. You are worth it. Divine is calling for a people of integrity, humility (not weakness), genuine compassion, forgiveness, and contributions in cultures and society that lift up this world out of negative criticism into positivity and health even amid and during pandemics, political wars, poverty, injustices, or unfairness. Share the wealth is not just monetary. The contribution you make by your actions, words, deeds, behaviors, and service to others will make your life healthier, and make the world a better place live. Criticisms poured out in harsh and unforgiving pious ways only serve the enemy. What’s your positive contribution for yourself and the world you live in Today?
“Whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellence, and worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8
