Break The Chains

WORSHIP: to show love and adoration; devotion with an extreme form of love in praise and/or reverence

What or Who do you worship? There are many forms and the enemy wants to to keep you focused on those things like money, possessions, drugs, lifestyle, other people to keep your mind in a state of worry, confusion, and despair. Worshiping anything other than our Creator leads you right into the mindset of the enemy who leads you right into the arms of worry, anxiety, discontent, and more that drags you under.

Time to turn the table on the enemy. Examine what you are truly worshiping in your life. If worry consumes you, fear is driving your anxiety, unhappiness with your present circumstances is creating seething anger, confusion of what’s going on around you is at the forefront in your life it’s time to break away from the enemy’s grasp and confuse him for a change. Break the chains of worry, discontent, fear, anxiety the enemy has sneakily snared you with in your life. Worship the Divine. It is the chain breaker.

Worshiping the Divine is not just about showing up at a building on certain days of the week. It’s about constant trust, faith, and love without compromise. It’s about turning on Praise songs in your car and singing to the top of your lungs to diffuse your worry. It’s about daily time spent with the Holy one in Word and Prayer to keep your focus on what is good, right, and fair in thanksgiving of His saving mercy and grace. It’s about conversations with Jesus on a daily basis, which breaks the strongholds in your life that leads you into His arms and away from Satan’s lies. Worry is a powerful mind game that leads to self focus and when you give in to it you take your mind off of the One who beckons you to live in the moment believing that He has your best interest at heart. Leave your past behind and entrust your future in Jesus. Time to Break Out in Song, lift up your Hands in Prayer, and have a little talk with Jesus!

“Jesus said, It is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.” Luke 4:8

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord…Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and joy.” Psalm 95:1,2
