Give thanks even in the midst of hurt feelings, chaos, angry arguments, sickness, and health. Living the life of faith in trust and commitment to God is a covenant not to be broken. In this world, there are broken homes, broken spirits, broken marriages, and broken systems, yet as believers, there is one covenant that we are called not to break; the one we make with God. Are you in it for the long haul?
When life gets too hard, hate sinks in our soul and tells us to abandon ship life turns to uncertainty. I’ve tried that way. I’ve tried to run, break free, lead a life of wild abandon, and choose revenge when abandoned by humans. It was disastrous with demons leading the way. I turned around and asked for forgiveness to come back, and God welcomed me with open arms without shame, judgment, or punishment. You can do that, too.
I give thanks for His daily covenant with me. I choose to trust the process of the Holy Spirit and not my own. God’s covenant is the only one that has our backs. I recognize the daily blessings amid the chaos of this world now. No matter how fleeting the blessings, how peace seems short only passing by, or how the enemy tries to destroy my life, I choose God. I give thanks for my blessed life.
Stop everything right now and seek Jesus to reestablish or start life anew with your covenant with God. Today is the day to choose holiness instead of conspiring to spin a dreaded life for another day in hell on earth.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
Blessings are our gift from a perfect God in an imperfect world. Give abundant thanks for the big and tiny blessings daily. It is time to live your life in peace shrouded in God’s covenant. Peace
