Be a Giant Slayer

David, the Shepherd Boy arrived on the battle field to bring food to the warriors (his brothers). With the Word of God, a Stone, and a Sling Shot, He left that day as a Giant Slayer ~DP

We are faced with many giants in our daily lives in this world we live in the present time. How do you respond? Are you cowering in your tents trying to plan out an earthly war strategy to defeat the giant enemy of broken family homes, addiction, debt, mental stress, burning cities, and lost children, or do you go to battle in Faith with the Truth of God’s Word and Promises followed by Prayer? It makes all the difference in your world as to how you respond. David was a mere shepherd boy, but his courage and faith in the face of fear prevailed as did his destiny to become a King. David the shepherd boy showed more courage by acting on his faith and stating the Word of Holy than any of the seasoned warriors he went to feed that day. David grew that faith in God. David, the man, did not lead a perfect life. He sinned, he made mistakes, he made bad choices sometimes, but ultimately, deep within his Spirit, he had a heart for good, right, compassion, kindness, justice, and God. None of us are perfect. It’s the heart of our Spirit that determines our courage not how many weapons we have, how much education or wealth we acquire, nor does it have to do with our status in society. We aspire to be and do only to the level at which our hearts have become aligned. How is your in Faith in the Divine?

What are you aspiring to become today? We live in the land of opportunity for now, but can lose it at any moment.Take this lesson from the life of David and be kind to yourself. Stop cowering like David’s warrior brothers in the tents waiting for someone to save the day. It’s up to each of us to do our part even if it’s only to lift daily prayers. Step Out into Your God Given Destiny with Courage to Slay The Giants today brings! Then Help someone else do the same.
