Your Purpose

Jesus knew His purpose on earth. He stayed focused on truths, trusting God, and, through prayer, His conversations with God helped Him complete His mission. His sustenance of life was to learn a carpentry trade. His divine purpose began the day He was born, but came to fruition when He was around 33 years old, in God’s timing. Jesus lived His purpose.

Jesus explicitly said, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” Luke 19:10

Divine Purpose intersects with our life if we include God in every aspect of our daily living. At some point, we are drawn to something more with deeper meaning in life. While seeking answers, God gives glimmers of direction. Thoughts of something bigger than ourselves, other than making money, begins to take hold in our spirit. Then God begins to lead us toward His planned purpose in Holy timing.

When we are truly close to Jesus a sense of purpose is revealed and blooms into Divine actions, words, and service. The whole of our life then becomes to glorify God in all that we do, not just going through the motions of religious ritual and survival. Seek the Divine in your life.

As you go through life, school, career, have you asked “What is your Divine purpose”? Today is the day to embark on that journey with God. Ask Jesus for help.
