What drives your daily life? Who is your engineer driving the train of your life? As you speed along the highways, ride the winds of change, and follow the trajectory laid out before you each day, who is in charge? Who is driving the train? Do you trust Jesus enough to let Holy have it all?
Corrie Ten Boom spent many moons in the darkness of the tunnel we know as the holocaust where heavy laden loss, hatred, unkindness, and degradation speared her soul day after day. She watched her sister die. She still prayed. She still trusted God. She waited.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. John 8:12
Jesus is the only engineer equipped to get you through the dark, scary tunnels of life. Trust, be still and know, and pray without ceasing. Choose Jesus. Follow the light. Then give it away.
