What do You See?

I stepped out into this crisp morning greeted by bright sunlight and birds singing in the trees. What a blessing. I may not have enough gas money to get me where I’m going today, but I firmly believe God will get me there somehow.

How do you see life? Do you see the beauty of God at work no matter the struggle? Or, do you struggle against Holy when His provision does not meet your specific wants?

Culture has made us struggle for more than we actually need in life. It creates jealousy, resentment, unhealthy goals, and drives our attitudes towards how we see life. The choices we make do not begin with reason. The attitude of our heart is where it begins deep within our souls.

The final choice we make about anything, any given day ultimately reflects how we perceive life. God always provides for our needs. It’s the wants that get in the way.

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Matthew 6:26-27
