There is a lot in life that we may not understand, but having the ultimate confidence in knowing the one you place your faith in knows the whole picture allows us to develop complete and unwavering trust. It is a process that takes time, effort, seeking, and learning. It takes tenacity and patient endurance to go all in when you don’t know the whole story. Our humanness begs us to regress, sit back, and wait and see clinging to the myth that somehow self will know better because we always want proof. Jesus asks us to have faith in the unknown until we are ready for the depth of understanding the next step takes. Sometimes, we are just not ready yet, even though we think we are. There may be things we must experience first in order to gain a deeper sense of understanding. It is not surprising that Holy timing is always right on time and perfectly crafted. The depth and width and breadth of your faith will be the deciding factor in whether you can patiently wait or get disgusted and give up.
We are not meant to know it all at one time. If you are struggling to understand something going on in your life, take this time to go inward, remain faithful, pray without ceasing, and wait for Jesus’ timing. It takes incredible courage and patience. However, you will learn a lot about yourself and your faith and begin to understand deeper meanings in the hidden parts of your soul. The wait is worth your effort.
