Remaining silent in the midst of a heated argument, wrongful accusations, or even simply receiving a harsh word is one of life’s hardest lessons. To accomplish this is no small feat. It is usually a long season of learning. However, you eventually get to a place in life where you begin to recognize the time when opportunity opens the door for you to have your say; not in anger, not with a judgemental attitude, not hurtful. It is well worth the discipline to get there for Peace always descends. It leads to a place of being able to rise above it all and living a Christlike life. Keep striving!
