Life is like a tulip in the spring. We are born helplessly into a world that is not always full of love. There is a time of darkness and growth before our true beauty opens up. We look different, our souls seeking the light provided by our creator God even when we do not know it.
We survive another winter of setbacks and grow more beautiful year by year even among the weeds, grass, dead leaves, and in spite of the life depleting pesticides that pretend to protect in false promises of life. Yes, we made in Jesus name! Have no fear. You are not through growing.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you … Joshua 1:9
Be strong and courageous…. in Jesus name. If you are still struggling in the winter of darkness God has a plan. Keep focused on growing in holiness. Your time of blossoming will be when you least expect it and when you fully open your starburst of light will shine forth into the dark world for someone else. The beauty of God will shine through you in unexpected ways and surprises.
So, don’t give up and don’t give in to the hardships of this world. Your tulip time is uniquely given by God. Follow His way and seek His beauty among the brambles of life.
