Trusting God first in life allows us to develop the discernment, spiritual awareness, discipline, and confidence to trust ourselves. Trusting self first then running it by God, only for approval, sets us up for continuously lacking faith and finding disappointment so we blame Holy instead of recognizing our own patterns of defeat.
No one can serve two masters….You cannot serve both God and money (chasing fortunes, addictions, careers, recognition….)
Trust God and you will learn the ability to trust yourself because your life becomes Holy will instead of your own.
